Bert Campaneris Plays All 9 Positions in One Game!


On September 8, 1939 Bob Feller become the youngest modern day pitcher to win 20 games at the age of 20. He finished the season 24-9 with a 2.85 ERA.

On September 8, 1963 Warren Spahn won 20 games for the thirteenth and final time in his career beating the Phillies 3-2.


On September 8, 1965 against the Angels, A's Bert Campaneris becomes the first major leaguer to play all nine positions in a single game.
