First President To Throw Out First Pitch April 14, 1910


William Howard Taft became the first President to throw out the ceremonial first pitch on April 14, 1910 at Boudary Field.


Elston Howard became the first Africa American player in New York Yankees History on April 14, 1955.


The Montreal Expos host their first game in Canada on April 14, 1969 marking the first time a regular season major league game is played outside of the United States.
